Writing personal narrative essays can be tricky. You want to create stories that are relatable, believable, and that help you achieve your goal whether it be college admissions (undergraduate, graduate, post-doc, etc) or a scholarship that can help you fund your dreams.
My personal writing has not only won awards, but it’s gotten me published. It’s no wonder that teaching personal narrative writing was my favorite task during my tenure as a College Writing instructor. While I’m no longer in the classroom, I am offering my services. Let me help you write a narrative that pulls on heartstrings, but also shows that you deserve to win.
- The From Scratch package includes two Zoom Sessions and two revision/editing sessions by me. In our first Zoom session, we will go over best practices for writing personal statements, and then brainstorm and outline your statement. I’ll give you a due date for submitting your first draft to me and then we’ll schedule your next Zoom session. In that session, we will go over revisions and structural changes that might need to happen. You’ll be given another due date for your final draft submission and I will provide more revision and edits to that draft for you.
- Our Half Baked package includes 1 zoom session and two revision editing sessions. This is for people who already have a draft of their personal statement and would like feedback on it. You’ll get revisions and structural changes followed by a Zoom session where we discuss and work together to improve your draft. I’ll give you a due date for your final draft and then you’ll receive final edits and revision suggestions from me.
- The Almost Done package is those who are pretty sure they’re all done with their essay. I’ll provide you with final edits and revision suggestions .
- Fine Print: After purchase, you will receive an email with a contract within 48 hours. Once your contract has been signed, you’ll receive a link to Calendly to schedule your sessions and we’ll get started. I will not write your essay for you. We will not use any AI services for assistance. If I find out you are plagiarizing your work in any way, I will fire you as a client and retain any deposit or fees already paid.
