FAMILY Summer Camp

Not sure you want to go the live activity route with family? That’s okay. Check out our other Black History curriculum offerings and do them at your own pace with your children.

A few years ago, I wrote a blog post about how you can have a Black History summer camp at home. And then a few weeks ago, I was thinking about planning our family activities for the summer since summer camps are still a little iffy.

And then I thought it would be amazing to create a summer camp that allowed us all to spend time together as a family. But one of the beauties of camp is the socialization for our children, so I decided to offer it as an option here.

Join us for 3 weeks of family fun and learning. We’ll focus on three different figures in Black History while engaging in family fun activities together.

When: June 7 – 25, 2021 (Note: Live zoom sessions will take place on Tuesday and Thursdays at 5:00 pm EST)

Week One: Language Arts

Week Two: Science

Week Three: Art

Where: Your Home and Online

What: You’ll receive reading and supply lists for each week, along with access to two weekly live Zoom meetings, which includes a story time followed by Q&A and a family activity to close out the week. The live sessions will be on a screen but the activities included will allow you to get off the screens because I know we’re all tired of Zoom.

How Much? $297

Recap: You’re getting downloadable curriculum that includes reading and supply lists, coloring pages, and details on our family activity, and 6 live sessions. Plus, a small community for you and your family with like minded individuals.

This camp is only open for 6 families, so I’m only selling 5 spaces because my family makes six.
