I was up pretty late last night, but what else is new, right? Well the system was misbehaving at the online school where I teach and I couldn’t submit final grades for a course before the midnight deadline. It meant that I would need to get up very early and try to get it done when hopefully less people were up working. Well of course I forgot this morning and when Sesame woke me up all I wanted to do was make him his breakfast and fall back to sleep on the couch. This is actually part of our routine on the mornings I’m up late grading/writing, but for some reason he wouldn’t leave me alone. He kept waking me up, jumping on me, and pulling the blanket off of me, but not requesting anything. I finally gave up and said okay I’m up. He said okay and then went to the other couch and started playing on his iPad. Ummm sir… why were you being so annoying if you didn’t need anything?
I proceeded to text my husband that very thing and then I remembered that the system was out last night and I had an hour or two before west coast business hours to try and get things finished. I managed to finish it and squeeze in this quick blog. So, yea Sesame’s the real MVP today. Oh and did I mention he’s not even complaining about the fact that I’m working when I said we would play in the morning, instead. Yup… that’s MVP material for sure!
