One of my favorite mommy bloggers, Dani from Ok, Dani started a linkup entitled “Mind Right Mondays” and I’m going to try and participate every Monday. The premise is to write down your goals and what you’re grateful for at the start of each week. I try to make a list of goals for the week in general, but I thought my readers might like to see what I’m trying to get done and provide tips.
My goals for this week are:
- Write three posts including an update on where I am with school
- Take Baby S on at least two morning walks
- Catch up on grading my student’s mini-writing assignments and update my grade book
- Create a plan for studying for my comprehensive exams
- Create interview questions for prospective babysitters
- Read to Baby S daily
- Use our Baby Einstein DVDs at least twice a week
- Call both of my grandparents at least once
- Call my uncle to update him on school
I am grateful for:
- A supportive partner
- A healthy son
- Family
- Finishing my exam reading lists before the deadline
- Awesome advisors who go above and beyond the call of duty
- Earning more money
- Amazing friends who I should really call family at this point
- Holiday breaks approaching
- Fall weather
