A year ago today I heard Baby S’ heartbeat for the first time. It had been almost a month since I took 5 pregnancy tests and realized I was going to be a mom, but hearing his heart beat for the first time changed it all. It became real for me and that’s when I knew my life would really never be the same again. I knew that nurturing this small baby inside me was my new purpose. 5 months old 🙂
Yesterday Baby S turned 5 months old and it has been an amazing 5 months. Everyday is a new adventure. He reminds me to stop and enjoy the moment. Work will always be there, but he will only be this small for a short amount of time. Becoming pregnant earlier then I intended confirmed some career things for me, but I’ll save that for another post 🙂
