Earlier this week my aunt called me and asked if I could have someone take a picture of me teaching. Apparently, my younger cousin thinks there are no brown teachers. He’s seven and so far he hasn’t had a brown teacher or a male teacher. I was so shocked because I had a wide variety from K-12, but I realized he lives in a different demographic.
Of course I took the pictures, but now I’m taking it a step further and asking for pictures from other brown teachers. I want to create a slideshow for him full of brown teachers from all over the world.
