Getting Back To Me Challenge

I love my little family, but sometimes I’m so busy taking care of them I don’t make time for me.

Now that I’m eight months postpartum I really want to work on getting back to me more. I said this before, but it is really easy to lose yourself in the quest to be supermom/partner. So, to help me I joined a challenge with three of my other mommy friends (non bloggers) that focuses on taking care of ourselves and making sure we are just as beautiful on the outside as we are on the inside. The four of us agreed to come up with a list of things we individually want to do to better take care of ourselves and we will encourage one another along the way. Our challenge is for the entire month of December and we have to check in with one another every 7-10 days. Once we finish the challenge, we all agreed to treat ourselves to something beauty related, so nothing for the babies or husbands. Here are my goals for the month:

I will deep condition my hair at least twice a month.
I will paint my nails at least twice a month.
I will get my eyebrows threaded AT LEAST once need to try and do it twice.
I will exercise at least 3x a week (need to choose a program).
I will exfoliate at least twice a month.
I will keep my hair neat and groomed (curly or straight).
I will dress nicely at least 3x a week even if I’m not leaving home.
I will wear blush, eye liner, mascara, and lip gloss AT LEAST when we leave the house.
