Mind Right Monday: Birthday Time

Let’s see how I did last week… 
  • Write a “honesty hour” post (journal/blog) about my writing slump. (FAIL)
  • Email my advisor even if I don’t write anything because I need help. (FAIL, noticing a trend)
  • Work out three times a week. (DONE)
  • Try out my new meditation dvd. (DONE)
  • Finish the next post in the Raising an Advocate series. (DONE, go read it)
  • Work on Hook Smart items for Type-A Conference. (DONE)
  • Menu plan for two weeks. (HALF DONE)
  • Clean our bedroom (it’s a DISASTER) (FAIL)

This week’s goals…

  • Enjoy my first blog conference and get the most from the experience
  • Write a birthday reflection post. (My birthday is Friday)
  • Be happy.
I am grateful for…
  • Our new desktop computer it’s really going to change my life lol.
  • All the “care” hugs Sesame gave me last week.
  • My students willingness to participate and be engaged this semester.
  • My new meditation dvd. I only got to use it once last week, but I can tell it’s going to be a life changer for me.
  • Sleep
