Swinging with my Sonshine: Mommy and Me Monday

 

Hosted by Krystyn at Really, Are You Serious?Last week Mr. S was on Spring Break and boy did we enjoy having him home. We spent most of the week resting and watching movies, but earlier in the week I mentioned finally wanting to take Sesame to the park and we decided to do it on Friday. I’ve been wanting to take him for awhile, but we wanted to wait until he was bigger. The pollen in Atlanta is pretty bad, so I tried to renege the night before because I didn’t want to end up miserable. Well Mr. S didn’t fall for my tricks he even picked Sesame’s clothes out, ironed them, and got him dressed while I tried to get out of it.

I’m happy he didn’t let me get out it because once we got there and put him in the swing he had so much fun. I sat on a swing next to him and didn’t swing at first, but he kept looking over at me and I decided to be a kid for the day. It was so much fun and I can’t remember the last time I hopped on a swing, but my little muffin makes me enjoy all childhood things again.

Six more weeks until Mr. S is on summer vacation and family trips to the park are definitely on the list 🙂
