One of my favorite pictures from Mother’s Day 2014

I’ve posted about this before, but reading together is one of my favorite things to do with Sesame. He LOVES books and we read at least two a day. He’s started wanting to pick out his own books at nap time. He stands at the bookshelf and goes through them. He’ll pick up books and go “mmm… no” and put it back. I stand behind him trying not to laugh at how cute he sounds.

Last week he picked out these two books and they’ve been his current favorite. I’m glad he likes reading, but these two books are really art imitating life at the moment.

I’m pretty sure this one is just self explanatory because well he’s two and they don’t call them the terrible twos for nothing.

Sesame is all about mommy right now. For a few months, he seemed to be more into daddy, but that was short lived. I’m pretty sure his desire for extra cuddles and extra time together are because we stopped nursing shortly after his second birthday.

I still can’t get over him choosing books that are exactly where he is right now solely based on the picture. What are you reading to your tiny humans nowadays?

P.S. Be sure to enter the Better Late Than Never Mother’s Day giveaway it ends soon.
