Getting Things Done: Mind Right Monday

It’s Monday and yall know what that means… Mind Right Monday. Here’s how it works if you’re new to the game: Write a post sharing your goals for the week and what you’re grateful for and then link up with me and my co-hosts: Dani from Ok,Dani and Darrica from Dear, Darrica

Here’s a recap of last week’s goals:

Write every day, but make sure at least half of that writing is actually academic based. I owe you all two posts for Black Women Writers you should know since I missed last week’s post. (Sorta done… I didn’t do much academic writing *sigh*)

Complete Week 2 of Piyo. (Complete fail and I won’t even make excuses for it. I’ll just do better this week)

Clean out and organize the refrigerator (seriously it’s a hot freaking mess and driving me crazy) (DONE!)

Treat myself to some yoga pants and tanks. (Forgot about it lol)

Start reading Unconditional Parenting and journaling how to apply it to my own parenting. (DONE and I’m learning a lot already)

This week’s goals:

Finish all of my grading and student responses before our staycation this weekend. I want to keep my required work time to a minimum.

Add a couple chocolate bunnies to the Etsy shop for Easter.

Create the rest of the schedule for my brick and mortar class.

Work on finding funding for next school year.

Piyo Week 2.

Spend more time playing with Sesame during the day.

Start the 30 Days Self-Love Challenge

What I’m Grateful For…

… my family.

… the solo trip I took to Target last weekend.

… afternoon naps.

… my wireless noise canceling headphones.

… Sesame being able to articulate his feelings better.

Alright now it’s your turn. What are your goals this week? What are you grateful for? Tell me in the comments or link up below 🙂
