It’s Monday and yall know what that means… Mind Right Monday. Here’s how it works if you’re new to the game: Write a post sharing your goals for the week and what you’re grateful for and then link up with me and my co-hosts: Dani from Ok,Dani and Darrica from Dear, Darrica.

Last week my goals were pretty simple. I wanted to write something every single day and to finish the first week of Piyo. I did manage to write every single day, but I only completed 4 out of 6 days of  Piyo. I’ve giving myself a pass on the missed Piyo days because I had to deal with a sick toddler most of last week as well.

This week’s goals:

Write every day, but make sure at least half of that writing is actually academic based. I owe you all two posts for Black Women Writers you should know since I missed last week’s post.

Complete Week 2 of Piyo.

Clean out and organize the refrigerator (seriously it’s a hot freaking mess and driving me crazy)

Treat myself to some yoga pants and tanks.

Start reading Unconditional Parenting and journaling how to apply it to my own parenting. (affiliate link below)

Finish planning Sesame’s birthday staycation (can you believe he’s going to be three already?)

This week I am grateful for…

Dani and Tiffani asking me to be a speaker at last night’s #Momference.

My noise-canceling headphones from Sol Republic. (affiliate link below)

My students at the brick and mortar university. Spring semester has sucked pretty much every semester post-Sesame, but this one is going to so great. My students are engaged and working hard and I’m just so proud of them.

Everyone in the house finally being free of icky germs.

What are your goals for this week? What are you grateful for? Link up with us below or leave me a comment below. If you’re looking for a way to get started with your weekly goals, check out my Home Management 101 post there are free printables to get you started.
